With a passion for teaching and a deep connection to the community, Troy Kids Karate was born, offering tailored programs for children as young as four. Our mission is to empower the youth of Troy by instilling core values such as respect, perseverance, and teamwork through the art of karate. We are proud to be a part of this vibrant community and are committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Greg Horton, our founder, is a sixth-degree black belt with a lifelong passion for martial arts and child development. Leading our team is Denny Strecker, who has been teaching karate for over 30 years. Known for his engaging and motivational teaching style, Denny brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping children develop both their martial arts skills and personal growth. His classes are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, ensuring that every child feels encouraged and supported.
Anay Pai, a Troy native and a black belt, is our dedicated assistant instructor. Anay began his karate journey right here at Troy Kids Karate, making him a true testament to the growth and success we strive to inspire in all our students. His passion for teaching and his understanding of the challenges young learners face make him an invaluable asset to our team.
Our Legacy Team Members are a group of dedicated individuals who have grown up through our program and are now learning how to help other children succeed.
