- Beginner membershipThe beginner program is a six-month agreement. We go over it with you in person before you sign anything. The first monthly payment is due at enrollment, and your child's uniform is included.

The long game: black belt
Black belt is not a decision your family makes today. It takes a minimum of about three years of steady training, and it is earned through hundreds of small wins: the first time your child bows without being reminded, the first belt test, the first time they help a newer student. Those moments add up, and over time they change what a child believes about themselves.
Optional programs such as leadership training, demo team, or competition team are separate one-time purchases. They never change your monthly tuition, and no child is held back for skipping them.
What else should I expect?
Do I need to buy a uniform?
Not to start. Comfortable clothes and bare feet are fine for the introductory lesson and the free 30 days. If your family enrolls, your child's uniform is included with enrollment.
Is there equipment to buy?
Nothing is required during the free month. Sparring gear comes much later, once your child is training at a level where they actually use it, and we talk it through with you first.
What does belt testing cost?
Testing costs and timing are reviewed with you before you enroll, never sprung on you months in.
What if we miss classes?
Memberships are not paused, but extended time away can be added to the end of the agreement so your child still gets the training you paid for. Illness, travel, and busy school seasons are normal, and we work around them.
Are there any other fees?
Optional programs sit outside monthly tuition and are always your choice. Agreement, billing, and cancellation terms are all reviewed with you in person before you sign.
Which frequency should we pick?
Most families start once a week and move up once karate becomes part of the routine. Two to three times a week is where progress speeds up noticeably. We will help you pick, and you can change later.
